Learn Why Experience Matters

Why I Am Running: I decided to enter this race after attending PSC hearings and witnessing citizens desperate to be heard. I saw commissioners ignore families struggling to pay their bills while prioritizing monopoly profits. I am running to be the voice for fairness and common sense that is currently missing in our state leadership.

The Experience: For 20 years, I’ve operated at the intersection of business and sustainability, representing some of the nation’s most respected organizations — including The Kroger Company, Publix Super Markets, Mad Industries, Cobb County Government, The Trust for Public Land, The Ford Motor Company, B. Braun, Riverline Recycling, Greystone Power, The Coca-Cola Company, Riverview Landing and State Farm, among others. I don’t just understand the environment—I know the balance sheet.

My clients rely on me for data-driven insights, strategic communications and robust community engagement. I have guided them through crisis management, media relations and experiential planning, designed to strengthen relationships and build public trust.

University Professor: As a faculty member at Clark Atlanta University, I teach students about emerging careers, how to navigate the economy and provide them with practical ways to do so. Primary research, data analytics, internships and AI conversions are the bedrock of my courses.

Education: I earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and Advertising from Flagler College in St. Augustine, Fl, and a Master of Professional Studies in Political Management from The George Washington University in Washington, DC., in 2017. I received a Certification of Entrepreneurship from Spelman College.

Community Ties: I am a proud board member for Keep Cobb Beautiful, Wellstar Cobb Hospital, Friends of the Concord Covered Bridge District and the Kiwanis Club of Greater South Cobb. I founded the Welcome to South Cobb Festival to celebrate our green spaces and connect neighbors.

Personal Life: The eldest of seven siblings, I cherish time with my parents, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. I am an avid cyclist, hiker and traveler. I find inspiration in my faith, nature and community.

A follower of Christ, my philosophy is driven by the guiding principles that justice, mercy and faithfulness are as vital as keeping the law.

I worship with a group in the Intown Atlanta area.
